IMPORTANT NEWS CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) COVER IS NOW AVAILABLE - We can confirm all of our policies now provide cover for Medical and other Expenses outside of the United Kingdom if you contract Coronavirus (COVID-19) whilst abroad. Some of our policies now also offer other additional Coronavirus (COVID-19) benefits. All our policies will only provide cover, if prior to your trip commencing, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office has NOT advised against all (or all but essential) travel to your chosen destination. If you are travelling against advice outlined by the FCO https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice you will NOT be able to make a claim. Please ensure that your chosen destination is one that is permitted for non-essential travel. Cancelling your travel insurance

Period of insurance

For Single Trip policies, cancellation cover applies as soon as the policy has been issued and the premium paid, but for Annual Multi-trip policies cancellation cover applies from the start date shown on your schedule or at the time you book the trip, whichever is the later. The remaining covers apply for the duration of the booked trip (or earlier return to the United Kingdom). It also includes the period of travel from home directly to the departure point and back home directly afterwards not exceeding 24 hours in each case. If the return is unavoidably delayed for an insured reason, cover will be extended free of charge for the period of that delay.

”Cooling off” period

If, having examined your policy wording, you decide the insurance does not meet your needs, you can cancel the insurance within 14 days from the date you receive the policy wording, and we will refund the premium provided you have not taken a trip to which the insurance applies, and you have not made a claim.
